You wouldn’t expect to see a flower garden in the middle of the desert, but since 2013 there has been a huge flower garden in Dubai. The Dubai Miracle Garden is home to more than 150 million flowers from over 60 different species, some of which have even been planted for the first time in the Gulf region.
The nice thing about the Miracle Garden is that not only flowers and plants are central, but there are also many other objects to admire. In the park you will find, the world’s largest flower clock, various cars decorated with flowers, a replica of the Burj Khalifa and an Emirates Airbus A380 that has been recreated in full size. Every season there is a change of buildings and objects, so that the park is a surprise every year.
Since the opening of the Dubai Miracle Garden in 2013, the park has welcomed a lot of visitors. While 400,000 visitors managed to find the Miracle Garden in the first season (winter 2012/2013), in the years that followed the number of visitors rose to well over 1 million per year. Partly thanks to the opening of the Dubai Butterfly Garden, many tourists and residents of Dubai find their way to the Miracle Garden
