Dubai Police supercars
The supercars of the Dubai Police are functional, they are a significant tourist attraction in the emirate. The vehicle is also equipped with modern technology including a 360-degree deployable periscope camera, facial and license plate recognition systems, and eight surveillance cameras mounted on the car.
Next to the Ghiath Beast Patrol SUV, the Tesla Cybertruck will soon join the collection of Dubai Police cars. In 2020, the Dubai Police announced on their Twitter page that they have ordered several units of the unique Tesla SUV. This SUV, equipped with bulletproof windows and a powerful electric motor allowing the car to reach 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, will be seen extensively in Dubai in the coming years.
In 2024, the Lamborghini Urus Performante joined the Dubai Police collection. The SUV, costing €280,000, has been adapted by Lamborghini for the Dubai Police, including sirens, a weapon safe, communication equipment, and a defibrillator for first aid in case of cardiac arrest. The Lamborghini Urus Performante boasts 666 horsepower, enough to keep up with many supercars in Dubai during a pursuit. However, the car will mainly be seen at tourist attractions as a promotional tool.
Aston Martin One-77 of the Dubai Police
Beside to the Ferrari FF and the Lamborghini Aventador, the Dubai Police presented their latest additions to the public at the Arabian Travel Market. The lineup included the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Bentley Continental GT, and the exceptionally rare Aston Martin One-77.Only 77 units of the Aston Martin One-77 were ever produced, and one of those units is on display in Dubai adorned with Dubai Police stickers. The Aston Martin One-77 will mainly be seen around popular landmarks such as the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa.
