The Dubai City Walk shopping mall is a modernly designed complex spanning over 13,000 square meters with circa 60 shops and restaurants. City Walk is conveniently located at the intersection of Al Wasl and Al Safa Road, about a 15-minute walk from the Burj Khalifa metro station. Due to its central location in the heart of Dubai, Dubai City Walk is a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
City Walk is a unique outdoor lifestyle concept, meaning that shops are interspersed with restaurants, and ample space is dedicated to nature, seating areas, and water features, allowing people not only to shop but also to relax. City Walk features a vibrant square where people can meet, unwind, and enjoy their recently purchased meals, all with a stunning view of the unique water fountains and the impressive Dubai skyline in the background.

Green Planet
Not far away from Dubai City Walk lies the remarkable Green Planet complex. Here, in the middle of the desert, you can visit an indoor tropical rainforest. The rainforest is built around a 25-meter-tall artificially constructed tree adorned with living plants. These living plants are expected to completely cover the artificial tree within a few years. The construction of the ecosystem and the flora and fauna in The Green Planet have been closely coordinated with various experts in Zoology and biology. All of this is to ensure that the rainforest becomes as close as possible to a real one, and that the plants and animals also reproduce in the indoor rainforest.
The Green Planet is not just an attraction; it also aims to raise awareness among visitors about the beauty of nature and how vulnerable it is to changes in climate and deforestation. The fish have not been taken from the wild but deliberately sourced from a breeder in Singapore, and the plants have been imported from Thailand and India.
Especially for children, 15 different educational programs have been developed around five themes and for three age groups: 3 to 6 years old, 7 to 11 years old, and 12 to 14 years old. All of this is aimed at providing young people with the necessary knowledge about the unique habitat of the tropical rainforest.
Tickets for the jungle of Green Planet can easily be booked online by the website Tiqets.com or by the GetYourGuide website.
