The Madinat Jumeirah complex is nearby the famous Burj Al Arab hotel and is one of the largest and most popular hotel complexes in Dubai. Situated directly by the sea, the complex consists of several hotels and the beautiful Madinat Jumeirah souk, built around waterways. In fact, Madinat Jumeirah is a small city entirely built in Arabian architecture. Here, you’ll find not only hotels but also luxury apartments and villas available for rent at thousands of dollars per day, unique shops, and many restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy delightful dining experiences, especially in the evenings.
In total, Madinat Jumeirah spans an impressive 48 hectares, and the entire complex is built around a sort of lagoon. Madinat Jumeirah features a network of waterways, allowing visitors to navigate the entire complex via traditional abras. As a hotel guest, you can enjoy complimentary use of these water taxis, while non-guests can take a paid tour around Madinat Jumeirah.
Thanks to its unique Arabian architecture with characteristic water towers, extensive waterways, and beautiful decoration, the complex exudes a unique atmosphere, making it a popular destination for holidaymakers and day trippers. The complex offers stunning views of the Burj al Arab.
