Dubai has an attraction especially for adrenaline junkies, the XLine Dubai Marina. After the great success of the temporary zipline in Downtown Dubai, Xline is back with a zipline that is twice as long as the previous zipline. With this zipline you can slide down with two people at the same time. The most bizarre thing about this zip line is the speed. This slide has an angle of 16 degrees, within a few seconds you go from 0 km/ h to 80 km/ h while sliding down from the 170 m high launch platform.
Just like everything else in Dubai, this Xline zipline is not just a zipline, with its 1 kilometer length the zipline is officially the longest urban zipline. Means the longest zipline that goes through a city. The zipline starts at the Amwaj Towers in the Dubai Marina and goes across the water from the Dubai Marina to the Dubai Marina Mall. Do you want to fly over the water of the Dubai Marina with the Xline zip line? Then you have to pay a lot of money because it’s not cheap. For one person, a ride on the cable car over the Dubai Marina costs 180 US Dollar per person, if you want to take a tandem ride you pay a total of 333 US Dollar for two.
You can easily book your Xline adventure online at the Viator website. The prices include a personalized video that is made with various GoPro cameras that capture your flight with the zipline. You will also receive various photos of your adventure with the Xline Dubai Marina.
Before you can take a ride on the zip line you will receive an explanation about the course itself and the safety equipment. In total, you spend about an hour on the explanation plus the ride on the zip line. The zip line is not suitable for children under the 12 and for people with heart problems.

Dubai Zip line opening times
The Xline Dubai Marina zip line is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To make a flight with the zipline you must be between 12 and 65 years, longer than 130 cm and your weight must be between 50 and 100 kg. You must also be in good medical condition.
If you have booked an adventure with Xline, the starting point is the XLine desk in the Dubai Marina Mall. You will then first be given an explanation of what is going to happen. You will receive your helmet and the further equipment. Then you are ready for the ride on the 1 kilometer long zipline and you can enjoy the amazing view of the Dubai Marina.
