On the Palm Jumeirah island in Dubai stands the striking Palm Tower skyscraper which is part of the Nakheel Mall shopping center, also known as the Palm Mall. Thanks to its height of 240 meters, the Palm Tower is the tallest building on the Palm Island and rises well above the rest of the buildings on the island.
The main attraction of the Palm Tower is the viewpoint The View at the Palm which is located on the top 3 floors of the tower. In the Palm Tower you will also find the luxury 5 star hotel The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm. The hotel has 290 rooms and is located on the 1st to 18th floors of the tower. On the 19th to 47th floors there are 432 luxury apartments of the Palm Tower Residences.
On the 50th floor of the Palm Tower you will find another of the tower’s attractions, the Aura Skypool Lounge with one of the highest infinity pools in Dubai and the world. Here you can swim while enjoying the panoramic view of Dubai. On the 51st floor you can find the SUSHISAMBA restaurant where you can taste unique dishes from the Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine. SUSHISAMBA already has successful restaurants in London, Miami, Las Vegas and Amsterdam.
Dubai’s highest infinity pool
On de 50th floor there is the roof terrace and that makes the Palm Tower very special. There you will find an infinity pool with a beautiful 360-degree panoramic view over the Palm island and the rest of Dubai. This unique swimming pool with over 930,000 litres of water floats 210 meters above the ground and is the highest swimming pool in Dubai and also one of the highest infinity pools in the world.
Above the 50th floor there are 3 more floors with a luxury restaurant, a VIP lounge and the View at The Palm observation deck which is accessible to everyone for a fee. Here you can enjoy the view from a height of 240 meters over the palm island, the skyline of Dubai and the Bluewaters Island with the highest Ferris wheel in the world, the Ain Dubai.
How do you get to the Palm Tower?
The Nakheel Mall and the adjacent Palm Tower are easily accessible thanks to their location in the middle of the palm island next to the main road. You can easily get there by car and park in the underground parking garage of the shopping center with space for 4000 cars. You can also take a taxi to the shopping center, almost every taxi driver in Dubai knows where to find the shopping center. Are you done shopping? Then you can take a taxi at the taxi pick-up point
Palm Jumeirah Monorail
The Nakheel Mall is also accessible via the Palm Jumeirah Monorail. The mall has its own monorail station, the Nakheel Mall station. Via the Nakheel Mall station you can easily walk into the Nakheel Mall shopping center from the monorail station. The striking Palm Tower is built on top of the Nakheel Mall shopping center. In this tower you can enjoy an amazing view from the 240 meter high viewing platform.
The route of the monorail runs over the palm island up to the Atlantis hotel. The start station of the monorail is the Gateway Towers station which is located on the main land, right next to the Royal Mirage Hotel. The end station of the monorail is at the Atlantis The Palm hotel at the tip of the island. The monorail is not part of the day tickets and NOL cards of public transport in Dubai, which means that separate tickets must be purchased. Monorail tickets are available at Gateway Towers and Atlantis stations or at the Palm Jumeirah Monorail website. A return trip with the monorail to the end station at Atlantis Aquaventure costs 30 dirham per person (about 8 US Dollar), a single journey to the end station costs 20 dirham(about 5.50 US Dollar).
